Namaste and welcome to my website!

I consider myself an un-likely yogi. Years of distance running caused very stiff muscles! I ended up in a yoga class because my car ran out of gas on my way to a spin class at the gym. The only class available once I get my car going was a yoga class - I tried it and it was love at first downward facing dog! That was over two decades ago. Over the years I have practiced and participated in workshops and retreats with many fantastic teachers from a wide variety of yoga styles. I am inspired by all. Yoga heals. It is that simple. My practice has helped me heal physical injuries and has eased me through traumatic emotional events in my life with a peaceful mind. Yoga is for everybody. Every body. I decided to become a teacher to help those who say 'I wish I could do yoga , but I am not flexible, fit, young,....' all those misconceptions which are holding people back. I encourage my students to be open to what can happen on the mat, watch the magic unfold and have fun with it.

I experienced my first sound healing during a trip to Peru over a decade ago. It was a profound and deeply moving sound journey and I knew that I needed to add sound into my yoga teachings. I started taking sound healing classes and attending workshops, deepening my understanding of the benefits to body, mind and spirit. My ‘family’ of sound instruments has grown and while I still use singing bowls to help my students relax at the end of my yoga classes, I started offering hour long sound baths with all my instruments a few years ago. I love that I’m able to offer this unique experience to people of all physical abilities.

It’s a time to give yourself over to the sounds and vibrations with no effort needed!

Come join me on this beautiful journey!
